saturday afternoon was a whole bunch of fun … i headed out to itaewon to join the korea herald gang for lunch.
we went to a bar called the wolfhound, which is a popular haunt for foreigners. about twenty people showed up and we had a great lunch and lots of beer. the highlight was giving shit to the geeks at the end of the table who were talking about star wars!! lol … but i ended up down that end of the table anyway, talking about robot chicken and throwing down my best star trek quotes. while i was there, i took a stack of photos. it was great to get the camera out and have a play.
i’d like to give a shout out to some people i had a good time with. joe from zenkimch, rob from roboseyo (it was great to finally meet you mate!!), gorgeous christianna, and luke martin – a guy who’s new to korea but is going to be someone to keep an eye on. luke has just joined the expat community, but already he’s making a name for himself thanks to his cartoons and webcomic at ROKetship.com.
